Principal’s Message

I am honoured and feel very privileged to be the Principal of Mount Camet Public School, Goregaon. I am always excited and look forward to working with our students, staff and parents to make MCPS, the best school it can be.

I believe in upholding high standards with an absolute commitment to strive to understand and improve the educational process, using team strategies, while wholly centring on student achievement.

Benjamin Franklin said “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” To Promote real learning, students are involved in various activities. The practical experience of learning enables our children to leave our school daily with either something in their hand, something in their mind and especially something in their heart. Our emphasis is to create a society of progressive, thinking individuals who will contribute to the intellectual development of the global community.

We truly have a fantastic school with a supportive and involved parent community, dedicated and highly skilful staff, excellent resources and buildings and the most fantastic students to work with.

I wish that the educational journey of our children is happy with wonderful experiences and beautiful memories to cherish. At MCPS, we have three priorities: to provide children with modern educational facilities, to devise an imaginative but intellectually challenging curriculum which will make the students want to learn irrespective of tests and exams, and to employ staff who are knowledgeable about their areas of specialization and skilled in the art of getting children to develop both curiosity and understanding, the main branches of human enquiry. Our school is committed to developing socially responsible citizens in a safe, creative and educationally challenging environment that encourages students to be clear about their values and communicate to the community.
